I got this in my email box today and decided to check the internet for any scam alerts. I got one of these from Lucky Day Lotto a while back and when they asked for the money to pay for a notary, I told them to take the funds out of my earnings. When they wouldn't do that, that's about as far as it went with me reporting the whole thing on Ed Madgedson's website "Ripoff.com". Obviously this is a scam, but what a nice twist: What we all dream of in someone dying leaving one of us named in their will. Under normal legal proceedings, such a real event would have been sent regular mail with appropriate documentation and reading of a will to attend to. Those that fall for this are obviously not aware of the legal steps that need to be done if something like this were real.

Below is a paste of the email sent to me:

Received "Lottery" winnings from "RELAY EXPRESS COURIER SERVICE, 2 HAYDONS ROAD, SW191HL, LONDON" They are getting very clever, sending a "cheque" with free delivery. I've responded, asking questions about additional fees, either upon delivery or before cheque clears my bank. So far, no response. I'm of course, skeptical AND I wanted to play their game to see how far it would go and when their "payoff" would occur.

Will let you know
