I recieved a letter in the mail that had a check for $3845.65. they claim i won a lottery but it sounds way to good to be true. is north am dispersment a real trust worthy company, i wish it was but after hearing all the comments i believe it is a scam.

I seem to have somehow won the UK Net International Lottery, but have to pay TNT courier Service to receive my winnings. The courier service seems legit but I can't find info on the Lottery co. They say my winnings are insured by Lloyds of London and guaranteed by the British Govt. so I checked with both and am waiting to hear back.

I received a letter from the BRITISH RANDOM LOTTERY, and was thinking, after reading all of the complaints that this lotto is illegit, why couldn't i just leave the money in my acct. NOT wire anyone any money as requested by the "north american agent" and just let it sit...they can't call the authorities on me, because they are trying to scam me, so why would they do that? AND, if the check is a fake, i lose nothing because I wouldn't use anything out of it...

I just received a letter and a check in the mail claiming I won an Irish random lottery. The check is for $2998.60. I just have to send back $2845.00 for a clearance fee. I supposely won $85,500.00 but 6.2% of that is for sponsor's commision. I know it is a fake and would like to warn the elderly that would not understand that. Thanks

I spoke to Ms Stacy Clarke at 1-705-770-0376 and she told me to deposit the money and then Western Union $2,800.00 to Tom Williams at 4640 Bay Street in Whitby Ontario Canada M9N2B6. Western Union would charge me $150.00 and the rest of the money was mine plus I would receive $245,025.00 after I called her back once I did the Western Union.

I got the same letter yesterday but the check was from Landis Supply of New Jersey, Inc. Found thier number on the net and called them. The guy at the business in NJ says they have a supplier in Canada that check payments were sent to that never received them. Someone in Canada is intercepting legitimate company checks in the mail and then using this information to forge the checks they are sending out. Don't send these people any money!!!

Boy did I almost get taken!! I too received a letter from Spanish El-Gordo Lottery AND British Random Lotto. I did a search on the first letter and found what I THOUGHT was a legitimate lotto, I called the post office and they hadn't heard anything about a lotto scam, and so I fell for the letter. Yesterday I went to the bank to start the claiming procedure and immagine my suprise when I found out the check never cleared. Thank goodness I didn't have any of my own money to send or I would have lost all. Guess I should have done a Google search and I would have saved myself a LOT of trouble. Guess Mom was right never fall for anything.

I want to say that the person or people whos responsible for sending out this lottery scams should be put in jail.Because I recieved a letter saying I won the lottery of $85,500.00.I was so over joyed an excited, because I really could use the money.But was I so hurt when I found out it was a scam. At that moment I felt hurt and betrayed.Because a person like me whos is'nt finiacally stable and could really use the money to make a big change in my life.Those people are scam artist and shonld be put in jail for life if it was left up to me.
