I recieved a check and letter about a week ago from Irish Random Lotto, check looks good but looks can be deceiving... You know if i had a dollar 4 every lottery I won online I'd be rich, yet I'm still broke. Cuz UC I dont send no money to someone saying I won something. I tell em take it out the prize check and kick it on in to my pockets. If they cant do that then beat it. Hey ne1 got a bank account I can deposit this check into? Just give me 2,000 and you can keep the 900.....Sound good?

I recieved this letter in the mail telling me that I had won $250,000.00 from the North American Sweepstakes Lottery, held on March 28, 2006. My winning ticket number had serial number FS 00945610987 with winning number 3-9-14-17-29-37-48. Enclosed was a check for $4,975.00 which looked real. I was very suspicious of the check. It had real fibers in it, a water mark, but the number on the bottom of the check didn't seem right. I compared with one of my personal checks and noticed that the numbers were backwards (check number, account number, routing number). I called the number on the letter 1 519 684-0369 and got the voice mail for Melanie Dunhill. I left a message on the machine, and then got on the internet to research this company. I could not find any such company, nor the Financial group processing the winnings (Amity Financial Group, Inc.) I knew that there must be something on the internet about the contest, results, rules and such. When I put in my serical number and winning number I found this web site. My check was from a totally different company than most of yours, and the check amount is different. I am going to take your advice and not cash the check, but contact the fraud division for my state. If anyone else has a check like this I would like to know, as my letter states there were 6 winners of the prize of 1.5 million dollars. I also completed the on-line survey for my son, who was sure he would win a PS3. I wonder if that is the link.

Just received a check for 2,995.75. It is a scam. You cash it, it comes back as a bounced check.

Well my story is the same as all the others. I received a letter from Irish Random Lotto stating I was one of 17 people who had won with this random lottery. Enclosed was the check for $2,995.75. I knew it was a scam, but my family urged me to at least look into it. So I searched online for the phone number and found this site. I have read many of the posts, and there are over 17 "winners." So here goes, I don't have a bank account and am thinking of just cashing the check and keeping the money. I read in one of the posts how a fellow had done the same but am wondering if I would be breaking any laws in doing so. Also, which agency would be best to hand the check over to for further investigation. This scam is criminal and these people need to be punished. What can we do to stop these people? My contact is a "Pamela Jones of Royal Imperial Financial Management Group" I had called Friday 7/14 and was told she was on maternity leave.

I wish I new the BBB in Belfast, Ireland. I would make a complaint against the Irish Random Lotto held in Belfast, Ireland. The same thing happen to me today (Tuesday) just Like it did with Tonya. Same kind of letter & plus I received a check for $2,995.75. But the check I receive came from Renaissance Hospitals,Inc., Houston, Tx. I Know a good private investigator a friend of mine that I'm going to give this letter & check to & let him handle these kind of crooked people. They need to be under the jail & never see daylight again. EVER.

OK, here goes. Today I recieved a nice check for $2,991.05. It was for the British Random Lotto. It looks legit. It isn't. I had the 'something isn't right' feeling when I opened the envelope. I am always entering things so, thought maybe, but hubby called the number on the letter....a Susan Greene of Royal Imperial Financial Management Group at 1125 North Brunswick Suite 204, Sasketon SK. I talked to her and she said to deposit the check into my checking account and wait a couple days and then send write a new check and send it to 'Mary Ann Peterson, 3025 St Catherine Ave. Suite 207, Montreal, QuebecH5B4B2........I'm thinking, 'yeah, right'. This girl had an orential accent and I had to ask her to repeat quite a few times. I told her that I was skeptical and she told me that I didn't have to do it, just send the check back and they would give it to someone else...There was no return addy on the envelope, but I had not noticed it at the time. She said that the check was sent from a company 'Geiger' that was sponsoring me and this check is to pay the taxes on the 85,000. lottery. She said that when I send them the money to this Mary Ann that they would cut me a check in the amount of 80,000. for my part and they would bring it to my door and I would need to show them two forms of Id and do a ten minute commercial. This makes me so mad that I don't think I am going to let it ride. I am going to report them to FBI and also any other numbers that I can find. I did a reverse phone search on the number that I called and it was a cell phone..... Hope everyone has a suspicious mind like myself. I hate to see people loose their hard earned money to these theives!

My dearest Joyce AKA wanna-be Goddest

If you don't like what I have to type here, shut your hole (the big trap below your fat nose and above one of your chins) and stop reading what I type. Its that easy. You don't have to type bull back to me you fat heffer. If you don't like this you sure the hell won't like what I type you later if you respond. Once again God bless all and please send your checks to me, after of course you've cashed them and sent me the Western Union (6.2%) of your 85k.
Tom
