I just realized how stupid I was thinking I had won money which was so badly needed.
I don't even remember how it happened, but my husband has been on disability for 3 years and this was a dream come true. Funny!!!
The check received was in October/November 2006 and deposited, it did not register rejected until February 2007. Imagine that 4 months!
Is there anything that anyone can do. The bank took all my money and I need to make up for the balance owed. If anyone can help, I reaching out to you, please.

I am in the process of being scammed right now. The last email I received was about 5 hours ago. It was an email telling me about the Courier service that they use would drop the check off at my door. They are quit slick but they are not going to scam me. I feel bad for people that have been taken by these dirtbags but I want to have fun with them. I called the number on the bottom of the email not realizing that there was a 5-6 hour time difference. They left two numbers, 1) a branch number 2) a direct number, well I called the number and a sleepy, sandy eyed, sand nigga answered the phone. If that was a business number, the business would have been long closed at that time. I think it was about 3 am. Anyway, In the email they tell you you have 3 options to choose to get your check. 1) two day delivery 2) three day delivery 3)four day delivery. The prices range from 550.00 pounds - 420.00 pounds. I dont even know how much that is in american dollars. It really chaps my _ss! I could have really used the $2,500,000 dollars.
When I spoke to the guy on the phone, he was quit rude. He was probably in the middle of a scam in his dreams and maybe I woke him before he got their money LOL. Somewhere along the conversation he got pissed and hung up on me. I called him back and asked him why he hung up on me. He said "Im a work-a-holic, I will email you when I get into the office in the morning." I am eagerly waiting for my morning email to pop up. I sent them a email about an hour ago telling them that if they would lay out the 550.00 pounds I would pay them $10,000 american dollars in return. I am waiting for a reply but I already know the answer to that one.
I contacted my local news station but they have not called me back yet. People need to be smart when it comes to scams like this. I went out and bought an anti-virus program (Norton works the best) and had to sweep my computer. The first email they sent me had my computer going crazy. I couldnt even pull up the internet. I had to reconfigure the whole thing as to when I first bought it and plugged it in. I had a total of 72 infected files eating away at my hard drive.
Well I want to wish you all good luck. Don't be played for a fool by these guys. If anyone wants to hear the end of this story give me a shot out @[email protected] because, like I said earlier, it's still going on as we speak.
