I recieved a letter from OLGC with a check for the amount of $4975 enclosed. the letter stated that I had won a lottery that was held on december 30th. 2005 in the 2nd catergory. the letter also stated a serial number and the lucky numbers that were supposedly on my ticket. it said i was one of 36 winners of 9 million dollars and i would get $350,000. IT also said the check enclosed was to pay the applicable taxes which would be $2800 US Dollars. to be paid by either western union or moneygram. It also said please do not attempt to use this check until you call and speak with the claim agent Mr. Leo Parker at 519-694-0830 for further clarification and claiming on your bitg winning.

My wife just received one of the letters/checks that you guys/gals fell victom to. After reading your entries on this site, I had an idea. The way I see it, we will never see the money, so why shouldn't someone else enjoy it. We have numerous homeless people around the city, which brings me to my idea. I am going to have here sign/endorse the check and give it to one of the homeless people. They will in turn go to one of the "quick check cash" sites in the city and cash it; for a nominal fee of course. Everyone involved gets a good deal. We get the pleasure of helping someone less fortunate, the homeless person gets a chunck of money (I can only pray that it helps them and not hurts them), and the fraudulant bastards that sent it out will get shafted as well as the "quick cash" site that I love so much. What do you think???

I just recieved a letter from British Random Lotto stating that I have won 85,500.00, they sent me a check for 2,992.75 that I am supposed to deposit in my checking account and wait till it clears then wire them the money so that they can proccess my lotto winnings. This check appears to be very real this is just another scam.

recieved multiple mailings from HAPLIN DATA SERVICES with 1 in 6 odds which claimed at least level 9 prizes in upcomming USA powerball drawing ,sent more $$,recieved these alledged 84 #subsets/USA powerball number sets with a date to play but absolutely no address/location enclosed to do just that??

Received a letter from "British Random Lotto" & sounded really good.But before taking it to the bank I went on the internet & found out it was a totally a scam. Even found out the address belongs to some warehouse. Talked to a guy there & he said "ITS A SCAM" & to let everyone know. Call This Number 800-468-8301 & you too will be told"Its A Scam".Thank God I didn't deposit that check. Beware Everyone!!

I received a letter from International Lottery, Inc. stating I had won $45,000.00. I was told to call their claims department at 786-395-5917. When I called the gentleman told me I would receive a check in the amount of $3000 to $3500, which would cover the amount of the taxes owed to the IRS. He told me to call them back when I received the check and talk to their accountant. Then at that time they would send me the balance of the winnings. Is this a scam?
