This is the second time I have commented on this horrible scam,but I must be heard because I am so very angry. If you are reading this you have obviously been sent either a Certificate or an e-mail note that you have won a lotto. Does any one actually think someone would allow you to win without having purchased a ticket? Of course not! They make their money by people mistakenly cashing those checks that come with the letter. They have no consience! Go to the authorities and report it. If enough people complain thay will have to address the issue!

If you think anything you get in your emails is to good to be true then it is delete and get on with the rest of the day. For scam information go to the western union website and look for the scams button and read it dont browse it read it.

I just recived a check for $2,994.35 with a letter from the IRISH RANDOM LOTTO.
Of course it sound suspicious because I never played on this lotto. It also says this amount takes care of the international clearence fees. So the amount I would finaly receive would be $80,199.00.
I would like to know if anybody else got this kind of letter.

My husband also has been issued a Certificate that he won the Irish Random lottery. It was accompanied with a check for $3,995.30 that was an assistance check to cover the international clearance fees. I called the number given for additional information and was told that it was not a scam or a ruse to get money from us. She kept saying congratulations. She spoke with a Hindu accent which told me I may be speaking with someone in India. This morning I went on line to research the bank and the claim agent information and became even more suspicious. The business Precor USA award program is not for lottery awards but for legal claims for contractors. This tells me they are using that name to make it sound more legitimate. I am insulted to think that they thought I was not intelligent enough to inquire more about their motives and legitimacy. I hope others are also careful and not be gullible to fall for this abominable scheme.

I too just recieved a letter from the Irish Random Lotto telling me that we won $85,500.00. With a real looking check from a bank in PA for the amount$2,994.35 to send to a designated (North American Agent. Then we will recieve a total amount of $80,199.00. Is this a real scam? The check seems to be real with water marks and everything. what should I do?
