Having received the "Official Grand Slam Winner" notification, Haplin Data Services proudly announce that I was the official winner. So... I immediatly searched the WEB to find out who this company was and what game exactly I was supposed to be playing. With no telephone numbers on the letter, I basically found it quite difficult to find out who they were. The only related name was this Computer Crime Research Centre, with their first reference being that of Haplin Data Services (Scam). How do these guys get all this information, physical addresses etc? I know that they will be hounding me with mail from now on, seeing that I am not responding or going to pay anything to receive their so called PRIZE - which I have no idea on what it comprises of! I wish they, and all the other "SCAMS" would just leave us alone!!!

yes i was told by the bank, to bring this paper and the copy of the check to the police department.because i had no clue it was a scam, so i use some of the money. so now i,m in the hole of 1600.00, now you either take care of this and let me know you are, because i need my ssi check to pay my rent,

We recieved a letter stating we won a lottery that we never even tried for. It also said that it was part of J.P. Morgan. And that we had a major credit card thru them or an account. We dont!!! Anyway they sent a check for $1357.00 with the letter. It stated that we had to use some of this money to travel to Canada to attend a seminar. It said there was 5 winners in all and when we attended this seminar we would recieve our 1st of 36 checks for the amount of $87500.00 a month.
When you got to reading more they wanted you to depoist the check first and then call the rep. to set up the seminar.
Well no need to ask we TORE the check up.
