I have recieved a check for $1990.00 and a letter saying that I had won the lottery from British Lotto Commission. It tells me to put the check in the bank to help pay for the taxes and clearance fees. Then I will receive a total of $163,010.00. I would like to know for sure if this is real or a scam? Thank you

I received a e-mail from coca-cola International online Promotions and some kind of Tabacco Stating that I won 1,000,000.00 euros in a drawing on oct 8th I need to know if this is a scam because they say my money is at a Courier's and I have 3 options to get my money each one cost a little more than the first one. They can't use my winnings to pay this because it is suppose to be against the law. If anyone else has received this would you let me know.

I was one of the recipients of this scam.
The person that did this, using false master card mumbers must have a lot of time to give the Internet a unsafe and bad reputation. Shame on all of them!

theres a place in london england trying to tell me how i won money,powerball lottery,but the catch is they want me to pay over 500.00 to have it couriered to me.my guess is it's a scam.people really need to watch what is going on on the computer.some people don't care who they rob,just as long as they could put a few bucks in their pockets.i fear for elderly people they tend to fall for this.

last week i opened an email from microsoft claims dept and as i read through it told me i was the 2nd place winner of an international lottery and my winnings were $850,000.00. i was in shock , i followed instructions given to me and i was totally fooled. they never asked for any money they just wanted me to fill out some basic info on myself, and i did but never heard beck from them, i was devestated when my fowards were returned te me because the email address they gave me no longer existed!! i guess i was probrbly lucky because i lost nothing except the hopes of having sooo much money!!!
