I recieved a letter alone with a check that stated I have won $90,000.00 in a International Promotions/Prize Sweepstatkes Lottery Program held in Atlantic City, New Jersey on Sept. 13, 2007. The check was in the amount of $1,980.00 and I needed to contact Mrs. Marissa Dagon before cashing it. The name of the company was Global Trust Inc and the bank name is Burke & Herbert Bank & Trust Co. I researched this information to only find others were the second winners of the grand prize too.

Hi my name is ian and my sister received a letter telling her that she had won the euromillones lottery primitivia s.a. I think this is a scam as they first said that they don't need anything up front only 10% of the winnings, next she gets a phone call from the agents so called bank asking for £952 as a release fee for the cheque. Is this the scam? i'm sure it is.
