I just received a check in the mail for $1,980 with Greenwood Publishing Group for the address. Issued from Citibank Delaware. Along with this of course is the letter stating that I have won the second catergory prize of $90,000, in the International Promotions/Prize Sweepstakes Lottery Program that was held in Atlantic City, New Jersey on Sept.13,2007. Instucting me to call Linda Wilcox at 306-880-2908, before cashing my check.
I decided to research this online and have discovered many people have receivd a very similar letter and check!

I just received microsoft prize claim email....I am so sick and tired of these cheats its not funny. Where the hell they get my email address. First it was australia lotto then people scamming to have millions taken out of their country and now using a respectable firms like microsoft and master card.

Hey Everyone almost got caught with a scam from Euro Fortune Finance , They sent me a check worth 2,940.30 and told me that the check was to pay taxes and other fees. they wanted me to call the # on the check to register the check and then deposit it into my ACCOUNT AND WAIT 2 DAYS SO IT COULD CLEAR and then I should give Megan Green a call at 1-902-412-1495 from Euro Fortune Finance. I called to register the check I ask the guy what company was this he couldn't even give me the correct company name the companys name on th check was Essential Productions, LLC in MT Kisco NY, the check also had JP Morgan Chase on it the branch in Newark, DE so i gave them a call and they told me the check was Bogus, Hey let's all give this megan green a call and let her know that we are not going for this, and the other BUM Essential Productions, LLC it seems that there all in this together Essential productions LLC # on the check was 1-519-992-1640. HEY I HOPE I PROVIDED ALL OF YOU GUYS WITH ENOUGH INFORMATION NOT TO GET SCAMMED BY THESE PEOPLE. HEY LETS ALL BE SAFE OUT THERE.
