I just recieved a letter today from OLGC Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, along with a check for $4,975.00. The check looks real and the website seems genuine, but how can I be sure that it is real.
The clearing institution is OLGC Financial Group, but I'm having a hard time finding any information on the company. On the check there is no "inc.", but online the information is OLGC Financial Group,inc. ,is it the same company? Or is it too good to be true as it seems?

i have received 3 of these such letters, 2 with checks to cash...which i didnt, but ...is there any where we can check names of these so-called companies...i have 3 different lottery names. Lloyds international, Atlantic lottery and Emerging financial group. I do not see 2 of these names listed in these messages.. Lloyds is mentined but is it a scam? i got these letters in sept. and just layed them aside... today i got a letter from Lloyds saying i had forfeited my winnings...had 7 days to claim...sure would be glad to be able to check these names out without having to make the phone calls.

I received a Check drawn on OLGC Financial Group Inc. In the amount of $4,975.00 as part payment on a lottery I won. Check Number 098760. Drawn on National City Bank 101 North Main Street, Elkhart, IN. 46514. It is supposed to be to pay taxes on $250,000. that I won. There was a letter from Michael Anderson. (Promotion Manager) I am supposed to contact MS. Stacy Clarke (Claims Agent)at her direct line: 204-051-3540. The Letter came from OLGC Ontario Lottery and GamingCORP. 205 Bayfield Street, Barrie, Ont.,L4M 3B9. Telephone: 1-204-951-3540. also on the letterhead it has Lottery, Resources Management & Payment Verification.
