My father received a letter and Check today from Global Financial group, Inc. in the amout of $4975.00 and the letter stated he won $250,000.00 in the2006 North-American sweepstakes lottery. We are tring find out if this is a scam.

Got a letter called very interesting. Wilfred Smith is the person that I was suppost to send the "tax" money too. So I decided to reserch first.

I received a check for $4,975.00 from OLGC with a letter with the winning numbers from last year. I called the name listed on the letter and they wanted me to send 2,950.00 for taxes by western union. They said I was 1 of 36 winners spliting $9 million dollars. They did not ask for any of the reference numbers or anything.This man by the name of Jerry Rose gave me a residental address. I waited a few minutes and got my boyfriend to call him back and he gave the name Jerry Smith with the same address. I looked the corporation up online and it gave me some tips to look out for fraud. All the tips this corp. warned had been used on me by these people. I also did a search online for the bank out of Delaware. They seem to have twisted the bank name around. Be careful, I almost cashed my check.But decided to do a little research on it first.

Without police we are a bunch of terrorists within ourselves and the bad soon over ride the good. Don't fool yourself theres more good then bad and as the japs say....don't wake the sleeping giant. (Sleeping giant) aka the good working public of the USA. For every other country wishes to be like us but is first to put us down, but also first to wonder why we don't help them when things go wrong? I receive a Congratulations form from Haplin Data Services with address Locked Bag 32 Bundall, QLD 4217 Australis as a Grand Slam Winner to receive number allocations from the Guaranteed Philippines Super lotto Number Program.
It says that to claim my Grand Slam Number allocation. I have to return the form with 500 pesos cash tp the address given above using a Security Envelope for the cash payment.
Is this a scam????....
