HOW CAN U PEOPLE SEND OUT THESE SCAM LETTERS AND GET AWAY WITH IT? ITS THE PEOPLE LIKE YOU THAT GIVE COMPUTERS A BAD NAME, YOU TARGET THE ELDERLY THAT IS ON A FIXED INCOME AND ALOT OF THEM RESPOND AND SEND THEM THE HARD EARNED MONEY OR SS CHECK TO COVER THE FEES THEN YOU TURN AROUND AND TAKE IT RIGHT OUT OF THEIR ACCOUNTS AND LEAVE THEM OWING THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS WHERE THEY HAVE TO SELL EVERYTHING OFF WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE? I just got a letter from John Down and he said I've won $40,000,00. I think this is a scam as I didn't even play in his lottery. All he wanted was my credit card details. If someome wins in a lottery they don't have to pay more money. I'm from little far away New Zealand so it happens everywhere. I don't even know how he got my name? Everyone out there should be told about these people that prey on people trying to scam them out of money. One sad story I read was about this poor old grandfather who gets these letters from scammers and pays them the small(yeah rigt)fee thinking he's won money but he's won nothing.Everyone dreams of being rich but these people are not on the up and up.

why were there many people who easily became victims of such a scam? maybe because they wanted to get rich in an instant with only a little dollar capital...such as advance payment demanded so that the money transfer in bank be processed. What did the authority do to stop this scam? Is there any way of solving this problem. What about the names involved in these scams, were these people have real identity or or just a self made names? Names like Benson Milton of United Kingdom,and etc. What if the real owner of the names mentioned were innocent?

My daughter-in-law received a check posted from JPMorgan Bank N.A., Syracuse, New York. The letter included Was from Prudent & Trust Financial Inc., London. She won a lottery of a Market Survey. She did not fill out any survey.Ticket Number 044147582-209, claim number KH9486DH.The check was for$4250.00.53. It said she had to pay a Non-Resident Government Services Tax (GST) for $3340.53. It stated that she had been approved for $125,000 That would be delivered by "our special Courier company". Claims agent John Fisher@1-778-317-5710. Signed Chria Johnson, Foreign Operations Manager.

I received a postcard from the National Payment Service asking for a $10 fee for Entry and Claim form documents to receive a guaranteed prize in locked bag 32. The request was to have it returned within 7 days in the envelope provided, which was not prepaid.
The return address was Gold Coast MC QLD 9726...no other contact information was provided...a little fishy!
