I RECEIVED A LETTER ALONG WITH A CHECK STATING THAT I HAD WON A LOTTERY AND I NEEDED TO CALL THE NUMBER LISTED. I CALLED THE NUMBER AND IT WAS A NUMBER IN IRELAND A THE LADY TOLD ME TO CASH THE CHECK AND WHEN I DID SHE WOULD GIVE ME A CONFIRMATION NUMBER AND I WOULD BE SENT A CHECK IN THE MAIL OF MY WINNINGS. I DEPOSITED THE CHECK AND MY BANK PUT A HOLD ON THE CHECK. SO I CALLED THE LADY BACK AND SHE SAID THAT I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL I HAD THE MONEY IN MY HAND TO GET THE CONFIRMATION NUMBER. I DON'T KNOW IF THE CHECK WILL CLEAR AND PLUS THE LADY SAID THAT I WOULD NOT HAVE TO GIVE ANY BANK INFORMATION TO THEM TO RECIEVE MY WINNINGS. I WILL UPDATE EVERYONE TO LET THEM KNOW HOW THINGS ARE GOING.

I got informed thatI have won approximately $300,000.00 thru the Australian international lottery agency these past several week?, I am to pay $1,300.00 to cover attorney feesz/, and securing a Court verification judgement?, I love these guys,, and ya,, i figure it's a terrible scheme. I also have one pending from SCB bank,, this one is for winings in excess of $800,000.00, again??, $1,900.oo is to be sent "immediately" to one opra Chumka(SP?) in Nigeria!
Question: Does anyone in here want information to arrest these crooks?, or do we simply ignore these scams!?

I received a check for $2840.00 and a letter from Trans Communications saying I had won a consumer compensation draw. There was a telephone number to call. I called the number and the guy told me to deposit or cash the check and send $2311.00 to a lady in Canada. I haven't done anything with the check. It looks so real. The check has JPMorgan Chase Bank and a compmany called Chemetall Foote Corp. in Kings Mountain, NC. Is this real?

I received a check for 4,975 from OLGC Financial Group. I called them and was told to cash the check, take 2800 and send cash via Western Union to Anthony William-7329 Clark Blvd-Ontario Canada.
Call them back and let them know that I have done it and they will release the balance of the 250,000.00 that I won.

I know I won't be out the 2800.00 when the check bounces either...........

I got an E-mail Saying I won money from Mastercard/microsoft Mega Jackpot from the U.K. Is this Fraudulent or legite. The people who contacted me told me to be careful of scammers using the same format. is there a real one out there and is this one legite? They gave me e ref # and e-mail address for a man named Larry Holms ([email protected])is he real or is this a scam?

I just received a check from OLGC Financial Group in the amount of $975.00. I was told to call them, which I did. They then told me to send $950.00 of the money to some address in Canada, call them back, and they would send me the remaining $9800.00 that I had won.
