I want to sue because they sent a letter in the mail tell me that I won the lottery and sent me a check for 2,997.80 and told me to call Canada. Well I took the check to the Bank and the told me it was all a scam.

I recieved an actually check for 2987.53 from a Neff Engineering of Wisconsin to pay for a tax and clearance fee. After that I would recieve $56,000. Then I would need to contact someone in Canada at Cowell Baker

I recieved a letter that I won $50,000 US dollars ,
I just had to pay the clearance fee which they would deduct from the winnings.Hey what I could do with that money,I'd be debt free.Too bad its a scam.
They are supposed to send me a letter and when they do I'm supposed to call the guy Larry Adams back,probably so he can ask me my account info.He made it so sound legit.I'm glad I started checking it out.I din't realize what they did.

I recieve about 2 to 3 of these e-mail lotto scams a week. frankly i get real tired of receiving them. there is an old saying that rings true especially for these things "if its to good to be true than it usually is". and that would be the case for any of these international lotteries, if you don't play then how can you possible win? but this is what i received.

My husband received the same letter that I have seen others publish on the web. I did not believe it and I called the representative Nicole Jones at 403-307-0943 of Lucent Financial Management Group. I could not understand her at first she mumbled out the company name. I told her that my husband had received this letter and wanted to know how it was possible for him to win a international lotto when he never signed up for one. She said that she need to speak with him. She asked him his name and he said his name. I told him don't answer any other questions until she answers the first. He told her to speak with his wife. I got back on the phone with her and before I could say anything to her she said, "if he is not going to answer my questions there is nothing to say" and hung up the phone. Immediately I turned on my laptop and did a search to find the company. Instead I found a few sites that processes the scam issue. The address of this particular letter is 340 Southland Dr. S.E. Suite 400 Calgary,AB T2J5X7 and Contact Person is Nicole Jones of Lucent Financial Management Group.

When someone says I've won something and then ask for
over a $1000 to send it to me a warning bell went off.
Same scam all over the country. Convincing using the
microsoft name, but the grammar and the broken English
in the E-mail also gives it away. I wrote an E-mail
back and hope to follow up by pursuing charges against
these folks and maybe get some money back for the people who fell for this.......Microsoft Mega Jackpot
