i got the letter in the mail from the british random lotto i herd there a scam but on the check it doesnt say anything bout the lotto it says imev discovery resources inc.and an address. then it says centura bank charlotte,NC 28207.and when you call the agent person it says the persons unable to be reached at this time to try again later.
is this one a scam too???

yes definitely it is a scam so dont prey yourself to anything like this just remember its good to be true. THEU WILL GONNA SEND YOU A CHECK AND THEN THEY WILL PRESSURE YOU TO DEPOSIT THAT WITH YOUR ACCOUNT AND WITHDRAW MONEY FOR THEIR 90 % AND BOOM THEY GOT YOU....SO BEWARE TO THIS KIND OF COMPUTER SCAM FROM LONDON, NIGERIA, MALAYSIA ETC.

I received a letter today stating that I was a winner in the British Random Lotto. They also included a check for the amount of $ 2,95.55 to enable the clearance fees. The check look very real . I know this is some sort of scam. Need advise please

I just recieved the 65,000 dollar winner letter in the mail today. Never fooled because I never entered any lottery drawings of any kind. It's a shame that sombody is preying on individuals who really need and want that kind of money. I hope someday there will be a way to catch and punish these people for their inhumanity. I would loved to win some money but I will not believe anything that comes in the mail anymore. This is not the only scam I recieved in the mail, in fact, this is the third in less than one month. Please take precautions and do some research before cashing any checks or sending money to unknown people/businesses. Check for grammar and spelling in letters. If there is no return address.... well nuff said.

Just wanted to add this: DO NOT cash these checks, it will catch up to you in a matter of a week or so and you will be struggling to pay back the amount of the check. They can also press criminal charges against you if you don't pay it back within ten days. Don't screw yourself like I did. I should have known better and now it has me totally strapped. My mother-in-law was on the account to which it was deposited and now her gas has been shut off. This crap will MESS your life up if you're working everyday for pennies like I am. Think about it hard and long before you cash these checks. They are not real. They come back as a counterfeit instrument, and this is investigated, I'm told by the FBI and the Secret Service.

I am now having to pay back every check written on the account into which I deposited this 2998.40 even though I have paid the bank back for the entire sum. Does this sound reasonable? I think the bank is ripping me off now, because when I made good on the check, they should have honored the checks that were written on the account. HELP SOMEBODY tell me what I should do........:)

freelotto has continued to send me emails about winning 1,300,000.00 dollars. Its funny that right after I canceled with them for taking too much money from my bank that they conntacted me to tell me that I won I have emailed them at least 5x and no responce.

I recieved the same letter from atlantic west gaming saying I have won 60.000 dollars enclosed is a check for 2984.44 for processing fees and international taxes. Pretty sure its a scam but it would be nice if it were real.
