I received a check from Bonanza 2000 - which I assumed was a scam. The check was sent to my address. To claim the funds, it states contact a NORTH AMERICAN AGENT telephone no 204-951-5869.

Hey everyone, I called the bank and it is not a real account. I am going to talk to the back and talk to my local news channel and see if we can get this on the air so others can know and get these dummies out of business and maybe they will have to go work for thier money just like we do. They are trying to get your account number and then take everything out of it. Don't don't do it!!!! Let's tell everyone we can. Remember what they said in their letter, "Keep it a secret" they jsut don't want to get in trouble. :)

just got my check too for the amount of 2,994 dollars and reading all these confirms my theory, this has got be a scam.

i received a letter for North american/european for 250,000.00 and the seruak nynbers are the same. like to believe it is for real, but it is too easy i do not pay the lottery.

I just recieved a letter from North-Am Disbursement. They sent a letter telling me I won the lottery along with 17 other people. I talked with a guy named Paul who urged me to hurry up and go cash my check,and then to call him right back after I did. My bank was closed fortunatly. I did however, call him back but all I got was a message machine.
I decided to look them up on line to see who they were and low and behold, I found them all right, right along with several other people who have been scamed.
I guess I won't be cashing my check after all.

Hey, I got the letter from the Bonanza 2000. The check is from Bank of America in Los Angeles, CA in the amount of 2998.55. I am not sure what to do. Is this thing for real or a scam and if it is a scam should I report this? Help Me Out!!!! Thnx!

and contact person is the same lol
what they will not do to get ya
i called the bank and verified the acct for the place that is on the check and its a good acct. but they will not tell me if the check is good or not but we all know the answer to that one
