I am going through this right now, I wanted to buy a newfoundland puppy through buy and sell canada. Was told it was in the toronto area and I just had to pay for shipping. I told him ok and was contacted by Diamond Pet express (which is located in the states) I called them and they wanted me to wire money to them to release the puppies and send them on the first flight. I researched the sellers address on the papers and found out it was a sutton group reality office and not his physical address. So I asked for the address of Diamond Pet Express so I could send a relative to see the puppies and no one is able to give me the address, plus the number you have to call for this company is in New York. Beware of any one using this company to transport puppies. Now they are harrassing me and telling me I have to pay for boarding and feeding of these puppies because the seller dropped them off there. BEWARE of these people we were lucky enough to cancel our western union before these people picked it up. So its happening in ONtario as well.

I think that it might be happing to me too. I also found a person on Kijiji with english bulldog puppies who has to get rid of them because of thier job. Here's the email they sent me------Hello,

In the last 2 days I have been almost scamed when I thought I was getting a free St. Bernard puppy from a couple who live in North Dokota who wanted to give it away, all I had to do is send them $150.00 for them to deliver it to me. ALL THE info in the email was wrong, a puppy that size would not have weighed 2 pounds, maybe 35 pounds would have more believable. I then checked around from breeders and they said this was happening, even the web site was fake. Who ever they are played with my emotions about the puppy, it could happen to a baby next. Beware and ask questions about where they got puppy and make sure you get phone numbers, these people never gave me a phone number to anyone.

I have put and add on Kijiji because I am looking for another puppy to add to my family and I have received over 15 sob stories about how their daughter died or how they have a job that requires many hours of work and this and that and all that bullsh*t.
I first thought it was actually someone looking for a home for their pup and went in to it. Later on I found out it was a scam as I was searching over the internet for pictures and found the dog's pictures on the net!
I was actually disapointing as it was a very nice looking dog but then again... Who would want to give a nice looking dog like that away?
Later on, someone else e-mail me regarding of their puppy and guess what! IT WAS THE EXACT SAME PUPPY JUST A DIFFERENT OWNER! Same name of pup too suprisingly but then again.... go figure.
Everybody, watch out for these scamers as they are a**holes and just want your money!

They played the whole christain role on how he is a reveraend, and on a mission, and my parents fell for it. I am just wondering what everyone is doing about this.?
My parents told me about it, and i done some research and here i am reading all of this. SO please don't be a vicitim.
This guy has called their house, so i have phone number (adress prolly fake) but he has asked for more money, and i told him to be patient.
They asked for more money for all the paperwork to be processed. I am still in touch with him, and is wondering what i should do? to try and catch him! any advice is welcome e-mail me at [email protected]
They sent their money through western union.
I still have contact, and he is waiting for more money. which I am tryin to buy time to figure out if we can catch these guys!!!!

THIS IS CRAZY!
HOW COULD I FALL INTO SUCH A SCAM.
YES - THE MAN SAYING THAT THEY ARE ON THE MISSION TRAVELING ALL OVER THE COUNTRY, AND CAN'T TAKE CARE OF KAYNA.

I also found a scammer on Fiji.com. She claimed that her yorkie "sisi" was only $150 (which caught my eye). Then went to $0 and told me i only needed to pay shipping. (even though she was listed as she was in my hometown) and avoided the topic of me meeting her in person. It sounded fishy so i told her no thank you. Even after, though, insisted on me telling her all of my information. Clearly, its a scam. Its simple, DONT buy from the internet. Its perfectly okay to find people on the internet and meet the puppy IN PERSON. Or better yet, save a life and ADOPT from a local shelter!! DONT let these people exploit your big heart for money.

I am the owner of 37mileads.com classified ads web site and I recently got 2 postings from these scam.
They use tea cup puppies scam and one of the m calls himself Methins Haff and email: [email protected]
and comes from IP: 195.24.212.66 and another one email: [email protected] and IP: 80.255.41.170. Both IPs are from Lagos and Edéa. I aksed him few questions why IP is from different (city) i told him that IP is from Germantown MI, just to see what he is going to answer:

It is very simple to spot fraud. As you can see from above, american person will never write "Dear Sirs" and "I decided to create German ip" (i said Germantown MI). So don't be affraid, it is very simple to spot these F**** from Africa.

DO NOT BUY PUPPIES FROM PPL ON INTERNET THAT ARE CLAIMING THAT THEY ARE FREE AND THAT YOU JUST NEED TO SEND MONEY FOR PAPERS OR SHIPPING....OBVIOUSLY THAT SOUNDS FISHY ENOUGH...MOST OF THEM ARE FROM KAMLOOPS...
THEY MAKE UP STORIES THAT THE PUPPIES HAVE NO FOOD AND THAT THE OWNERS LOST THEIR JOBS TO PERVOKE YOUR GUILT AND THEN THEY TRY TO GET YOUR ADDRESS AND OTHER INFORMATION.
BE WEARY, DO NOT BUY PUPPIES FROM FAR DISTANCES AS ITS NOT SAFE FOR DOGS TO BE TRAVELLING ALONE REGARDLESS...

Someone contacted me because I had an online ad selling my dog. They sent me a fake money order for over $2,000. They wanted me to cash the money orders through my bank and then send around $1500.00 to the travel agent picking up the dog for airline tickets. Go figure???? Now who would do that???
