A 46-year-old New Hampshire man who Connecticut officials say was surfing the Internet for a sex slave has been sentenced to nearly five and a-half years in federal prison.

Prosecutors in New Haven federal court say Bradley Sweeney cruised the Internet to try to lure a 13-year-old girl into being his sex slave.

The 13-year-old girl he made contract with was actually a special agent with the FBI's Connecticut Computer Crimes Task Force.

Sweeney was convicted of attempting to use the Internet to persuade and entice a minor to engage in prohibited sexual activity.

Sweeney was sentenced yesterday in New Haven federal court to 65 months in prison.
