Cyber investigators say the number of cyber criminals harming people using the Internet continues to rise.

It's why the University of Texas at Tyler unveiled a new program called "TxFRST."
It's short for Texas First-Responder Cyber Security Training.

The university will now provide law enforcement personal in the state of Texas with free classes to better their skills in catching these innovative crooks.

UT Tyler partnered with Mississippi State University's renowned center for computer security research to create this institute.

Many elected officials including Attorney General Gregg Abbott showed up at the inauguration to speak about the crucial problem.
