Yes - sexual exploitation is WRONG - regardless of the age. Nobody is disagreeing with you Braniac.
But nudity is not sexual exploitation. For you to argue that nudity is suxual exploitation is to tell the world that you find non-clothed pictures of females automatically sexual. Guess what Robin Hood? I can look at a picture of a nude 16 year old and see how beautiful she is without feeling the need to grab my penis and masturbate. If the picture really appeals to me, I may make it my Windows wallpaper. I have done this in the past with ladies that were probably only 13 or 14 years old.

You're not giving children enough credit, I was more than capable of telling right from wrong when I was a child. I could comprehend the world around me, and I am sure many children in this day can. (If anything, these days the children may be too desensitized, since you can't turn on the news without seeing death, violence, murder, destruction.) I still am capable of telling right from wrong, fact and fiction, and I don't believe what was "reported" here is fact, I mean come on where is the rest of the story? Only three very short articles since this "big story" broke can be found, and they all same the same thing, different wordings. I've searched every single news outlet I know of and can't find any other snipet of news on this topic or anything related to this "big" story. You would think that bringing down a "porno empire" would make more than a tiny ripple, wouldn't you?
I do not know of any other side of these studios that you speak of, all I know is what I saw, I had no dealings, no vested interest in anything related to this, I was a subscriber to their sites, and I can't say for certainty that anything illegal did go on. I didn't see it, and I can't believe that without proof. I don't believe in things I can not physically see myself, I do not judge upon suspicion or rumor, I a realist, if I don't see something, I don't believe it.
I do know that nudity is not a crime, to say nudity = pornography is just to simplistic.
You can't hide your kids from the world and expect them to wake up at 18 years of age, and go into the world like they've been there the whole time.

LS-Studios didnt only have their american showcase of soft core child porn, but also did operate many of what you say is at Ranchi.
The Federal Bureau of Inactivity is just that because most the time they only seek after what effects are felt within the US. More so Interpol and Ukrainian authorities were involved with this one. Take a look at an article here about that posted a few dates back.

There is no magical limit when nudity becomes pronography. It is the activity that determines pornography and not how many ounces of clothing the model is wearing or which body parts have 1/16 inch of fabric covering it.

I have never found erotic pleasure in artistic nude photography - whether the model happens to be over or under whatever arbitray legal age limit happens to exist at the address you are sitting in when you happen to view a picture. Okay, instead of focusing on what is "soft core" erotic photography at best, why doesn't the Federal Bureau of Idiots, if they were actually involved, go after "hard core" child porn producers? They seem to "catch" studios set up as legitimate art studios, rather than catch those that do operate true child porn operations. It's easy to catch and misunderstand, and to call a nude body pornographic is just stupid puritanical people who deny what they really want.
Denial of interest is what provokes people to shut down something that they don't understand.
I have never seen any pornographic images on any of the sites you mentioned KuatO, instead of crusading against legitimate studios, why not crusade against true child porn producers, traders, and seekers, like those on the infamous Ranchi board? There's a lot of sick stuff available there if you could even find that place, which I doubt, because they are not as visible as these studios, and are far worse.
Don't get me wrong, I do believe that there is a level of exploitation going on, probably greater in some instances than others... but being a minority in Amorica is exploitive.
This "problem" which you speak of will never go away, it may get bigger, and more underground, or it may get smaller, who's to say... but it will never go away, you may end up with an opposite effect, people might turn to hard core child pornography where children are raped, brutalized in picture form and video form, and that is truelly more harmfull to the children of the world than posing nude for the world, is it not?

Im glad this string of sites has been taken down. Obviously it is the notorious LS-Studios, Formerly known as Ukrainian Angels Studio. It has been around a little longer than 3 years. I know because I have spent countless hours trying to fight, and get these sites off the net.
They say they have considered arresting 16 people. I hope they know, that LS-Studios is made up of like 58 people. That doesnt count all the people making money off of spamming the web with top-sites, bbs's, and forums. Its nice to see that authorities are digging in "Eltel" finally. They will see there will be a lot more than they thought.
This is one major step in the fight against child sexual exploitation. Ukraine is the home of most of these 'Lolita' sites. Sites like LS produce the material, others buy from different sources. Already as one site of LS's goes down, another list of AVS sites appears. It seems like there is another string of sites to go up after a bust every time. I wish these sick bastards would quit abusing these kids, and get a real job, and get help for their sickness. These parents ought to be shot. I know many of them know what was going on, but they are only covering their own asses. The things people do for money is absolutely sickning.
Next I hope to see BD-Company (8 people who left ua-studios a bit ago), ul-studios, and sites like darkcollection next. There are a lot more people than 16 to be arrested.
Along with the Trustbill/Regpay bust a time ago... LS-Studios used that billing service for a time, located in Florida, US. They got over 70,000 peoples details of whom payed for the sites. Just think of how many more people they can get from other credit card agencies, and things like paypal.
But the thing is, most the people that do more crime, as far as sharring CP on the net... are a little more wise and anonymous on the net (so they think). There are huge communities where people share this material, without ever paying for it. These people crack the sites, and upload it to free porn hosts.
Many that share the harder stuff, are hidden off in small private communities, encrypting everything, and using proxies etc. I hope some technology is devoted to catching them, the worst kind.
Just my few words. This world is a much better place now for 1500 children that were used and abused by LS-Studios. Thanks to all who are making this glorious bust, a done deal.
