Sadly, it is not uncommon for these types of offenders to pursue and have lengthy employment histories tending show that they deliberately place themselves with young children - - or children of their "target" age. Thankfully in the U.S. we have minimum federal sentencing guidelines that make incarceration mandatory. These types of offenders are not probation eligible in the federal system.
