Tips to avoid online fraud

If you receive an email that seems to be from your bank, don't reply to it - give your bank a call instead.

:: Check your bank statements for suspicious transactions and shred your personal information once you've read it.

:: Treat your personal information as confidential - it's worth a great deal to criminals.

:: Never give full security details or passwords to someone who calls and says they are from your bank or the police.
