Nothing new here.
Any computer or network that can be connected to by "the enemy" is open to attack.
And our security model is wrong. It is the Wild West out there and putting the wagons into a circle is a sure looser! As a UK Gov report stated today, the internet is the new Wild West.
You need strike back on a massive scale, yes use the "US Cavelry" and get those "injun" limbs, heads and guts flying from the long knives."
Just like the real world ones, the only good cyber-terrorist is a dead one.
Massive counter-attacks, no prisoners etc is the only way to deal with cyber-terrorism.
