Brookfield East teacher facing computer sex crime charges in Louisiana

WAUKESHA - A Brookfield East High School teacher and coach has been suspended after he was charged following allegations he sent lewd video clips to an undercover police officer posing as a 15-year-old girl online.

Michael Sprinkel is on an unpaid, indefinite suspension from the Elmbrook School District while authorities and district officials investigate whether he had any inappropriate contact with students there.

So far, that answer appears to be no, Superintendent Matt Gibson said Monday.
