Ocoee man arrested for child porn

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - An Ocoee man has been taken into custody and will be charged with possession of child pornography.

Eric Perez, 27, was arrested by law enforcement with the Florida Attorney General's CyberCrime Unit after investigators discovered Perez had multiple videos of child pornography in his possession.

During a routine investigation, Investigators located videos of child pornography and traced the images back to Perez's computer. A search warrant was executed at his Ocoee home and investigators seized one laptop and three SD cards which will all undergo forensic analysis to identify any additional images of child pornography. Investigators say an initial review of his computers revealed multiple videos of child pornography including some of children as young as two years old.

Perez will be booked into the Orange County Jail and charged with 5 counts of possession of child pornography, each a third-degree felony. The Ocoee Police Department and the Seminole County Sheriff's Office assisted with the arrest.
