Cyber crime police visit KIMS

HUBLI: As part of their investigation, CoD police headed by Deputy General of Police (DGP) Alok Kumar once again took final year MBBS student and terror suspect Mohammed Asif to Anand boys' hostel of Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) and conducted a detailed search on Wednesday.

Highly-placed sources told this website�s newspaper that the cyber crime police had also visited KIMS and carried out a search to decode any sensitive information from the computer hardware, if any.

Sources confirmed that internet centres in the district were also under the scanner as they might provide vital clues in the terror links of the region.
