The Hacker Academy training portfolio encompasses all aspects of hacking within information security but emphasizes a philosophy that information security is not only a technology issue. "Too much of security training still concentrates on only technology and not on the people themselves," says Aaron Cohen, President of The Hacker Academy. "Experience tells us that if organizations don't get their IT staff trained and up to speed, then all the 'techie' solutions in the world won't provide adequate protection."

The Hacker Academy is proud of the relationship between themselves and the EC Council who issue both the CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) and the ECSA (Certified Security Analyst). These certifications are now recognized as benchmark standards in information security and many companies and government agencies require their staff obtain these certifications.

The 2007 schedule sees course offerings in several cities in the US including locations in Chicago and Washington DC as well as onsite training situations. The Hacker Academy will utilize MicroTek training Centers (www.mclabs.com) at all locations in order to give students the most comfortable and professional setting available.
