Computer security vs. cybercrime

The Computer Security Institute (CSI) has published annual report about cyberthreats and cyberattacks statistics. Results were unexpected: according to the data of 530 firms which were taking part in research, the quantity of computer crimes remained at a former level, and the caused losses has decreased more than twice.
The most serious decrease in losses from cybercrime is connected to financial abusings and makes 9 million dollars (116 million the last year).
Still, the gravest damage is caused by information theft, and cyberattacks "Denial of Service".
