Other-I am not sure how to find out if it was the LS sites or not. As far as your other question goes, I am not sure of this but i would assume that if a person subcribed to any of these sites but did not save the images to their HD, then I would guess that they would be charged with downloading the material but not with possesion. Any other comments on this question would be welcome and if you want to discuss this further than visit my website at vacp.proboards19.com/

Assuming the feds tracked the credit card back to the user.

Balrog, good comments. A couple of questions since you seem to be in the know.
How does one find out if these are the LS sites
What happens to a person who subscribed to the sites a few times and if their home computers are checked, there is no trace of any cp
Thanks in advance.

One other thing that really bothers me is the fact that these busts in the last year or so with these lolita sites is that these sites are not underground and can be readily found, but it takes 3 years to take them down? I have been reporting these sites for years and have harassed them with anything from email to viruses but with little results. I think I am starting to smell that disgusting aroma of politics involved......

I am not so sure that it is the LS sites that they took down. There are more of those sites in the Ukraine than what we know of, but remember that any of these so-called art sites that are out there that are not producing hardcore CP but just nude images, in most cases, are never convicted because of what is happening right here in this forum. People's views on what is porn and what is not porn, differ greatly and that is why it is hard to convict anyone with this kind of material.
Someone here said that Playboy, in their view, is not pornagraphic, but to the next person it is extreme. I, personally think that it is merely erotic nudity and is beautiful, but to say that I can not be sexually turned on by it is absurd. Our basic instinct is to be be sexually aroused by the sight of nudity that is presented in a way that is pleasing. Of course that various from person to person.
As far as the arguement that has been made here as to rather this is child porn or not, is rather inconsequencial due to the fact that these girls were exploited for money, regardless of whether or not it is "art" or not. No, I dont believe that these girls will experience any long term damage due to the fact that if it was the LS sites, than posing nude is not all that shameful as long as, us adults, don't blow it up larger than what it is. Nudity is still nudity, not porn. The more we push this than the more we blow it up in their minds that it is so shameful. The bottom line is that nudity is not shameful, but exploiting nudity for a profit is.

Techi: You are absolutely right. Demeaning and robbing these children of their pride is just what they are doing. A person who knows art, and has any worldly knowledge of what art is, would know these sites contained little to no artistic value. Of course the sites dont exist anymore because they were pornography. And of course people who spend all their time downloading it, and being around it and other people that justify it, will think its fine and acceptable. Even in the Hardcore CP corners of the net, they even talk themselves into thinking looking at abuse, is not the same as abuse. They dont fully fathom the fact that those are real children having their lives forever traumatized. Or in this case with these people, sexual exploitation of children is OK. There is plenty of art out there with children as the center subject, clothed, and nude. Usually done an accepted by artists, and a community that knows art. And the children are not brainwashed, or raised in a culture that is all around dirty and criminal. wheither you payed for it even, or not, by viewing the underage porn, you are supporting the demand, and doing nothing to stop the exploitation of the worlds children sexually. Art is most always a candid snap of a person, any age, in their regular life doings. A photo of a little girl, nude in the tub, with chicken pox, is in no way pornography or exploitive. But when children are staged to look, and be sexual, to be involved in a strip tease, and display their genitals the way the LS sites did, and general demeaner... is utmost pornography. These sites were on a level way beyond an 'of age' playboy magazine. They were even far beyond the old European Lolita magazines which featured the 'art' of sturges... But to consintrate on sex, sexual positions, strip teases, and genitals... and inuendos... is flat out porn. But more so exploiting children. I dont think a 10 year old girl quite has a grasp on what it is they are being used for. They are being taught that the only thing in life they can make money with, is their good looks and sexuallity. Thats all part of exploitation. As many get older, and have a civilized, worldly view as to what it was they were used for... it usually tears tjem to pieces. Their esteem is lost in the past, and they feel worthless. Same goes with women in pornography. They all hide something very deep within them. Like the fact that they feel worthless.

Exploitation is a terrible problem, especially of children like the way these sites exploited them. Of course it wont just magically go away. But instead of feeding the demand for whats illegal and wrong, try doing something to help all these children. Whats legal.... there is no sense in fighting porn in general. Its a moral decission to look at porn, and support that business. But standing back and doing nothing about child sexual exploitation.. just makes each and every one of us the problem. One big problem with society, is that it continues to desensitize itself until its too late. We live in an 'anything goes' attitude. Sooner or later it catches up to all of us. A gang banger will be a cultural example... comes out of the ghetto, and thinks its ok to rob a liquor store, or shoot somebody. Where in a more civil part of town, they would absolutely be horrified. Would you rather see the world turn into the ghetto, or the good side of town? Feeding child porn, only supports the abuse and exploitation of children. It supports organized crime, and demeans each and every one of us in a sense. God bless.

any updates on this?

Amazing conversation... I believe a few of you need to read DOJ guidelines that's talk about exactly what sexual exploitation of a child consists of. Simple possession is a mandatory 5 year prison term as of last May. So its all up to the viewer, is it worth the risk? and you speak of Regpay... well if you paid for the pictures, then the data is traceable...You decide is it worth 5 years in jail? I think its great they busted this ring... too many overseas groups demeaning children...

haha, bhairava...
I cant belief you jackasses think those sites you collect in maticulous libraries in your harddrives is art. Do you even know what art is?
I wont go into it, because nomatter what you pervs will always do all you can in your power to justify your sexual desires of children. LS sites were pornography, and not all even 'softcore'.
Instead of spending 50% of your lives in front of a computer arguing about your perversions and downloading child porn, try getting a life.
You say you are against sexual exploitiation of children? LOL, WTF do you think these sites are doing jackass?
Anyway...
blah? You are calling me blah? hahaha
I'll make sure I send him a letter in prison telling him that you said that.

Thanks.
I appreciate your comments. I have been trying to find more information on the story and can't. I abhor child pornography. If I ever come across it by accident (some ahole publishes it in some off topic easynews forum) it pretty much makes me sick.
I am now concerned the feds will find my credit card number (if they actually proceed to track down people that subscribed to the soft ls sites - there must be 1000s - any ideas?) and be knocking on my door. I don't have any child porn on my PC, but the shock of that activity would pretty much devistate me.
Anyway, thanks again for your comments. I suppose the Internet is a dangerous place and what we may think innocent in our eyes will be a crime in others.

NoPedoHere, I wouldn't worry, people like KuatO just like causing people problems, and causing people to panic, and cause people to be horrified, much like this person has done to you. Whatever the case, or whatever the outcome, you knowingly purchased what you and the site called art, you can't equate art as being pornography, and you had no ill intentions when you purchased what was legal. That's the way I see it.
This guy is obviously a frustrated indivisual, who believes that he is right and everyone else is wrong, don't cross people like that, just avoid them for however long as you can, because they don't go away.

Question. I am pretty much horrified right now. I subscribed to ls mag 2 times and ls dreams 3 times and I didn't really think they were cp. But rather nude art. Are the feds coming after us who subscribed.

hey blah... it's been a long time, huh? i see you're still fighting the fight. remember, now, love of youth and beauty was something even you enjoyed... i'm sure you still find time to admire the beauty of art... yes?
none of the folks who've replied here are pro-c*p* and/or pro-s*xual exploitation of children. you know that. even your female cohort would agree with this...
best to you.
