I just received a similar email from KIA. My first reaction: This is a joke! After reading and thinking that I bought a KIA car recently, I thought this might be true! I called the contact advisor Perry (provided in the email) to the UK: He said congratulation, this is for real, send me an email with your contact information (address & telephone) to start with the process. Which I did.

However, I thought it was too good to be real!!! Also, they said in the email, that no one in any other KIA location would know about this. What kind of marketing campaign is that??? You give away a lot of money without letting know your customers and potential buyers??? Thus, I called KIA USA customer service. The agent was surprised by listening my history, but when he talked to the corporate office they said FRAUD!!!

I hope the authorities are doing something about this. At least now they have a name & number to call and ask: "Show us the money"
