International Seminar "Fighting Computer Crime"

Computer Crime Research Center will hold a scientific and practical seminar "Fighting Computer Crime" on September,
26, 2003. The seminar will be held at the support of Transnational Crime and Corruption Center at the American
University (Washington, USA). The Seminar will take place in Humanitarian University " Zaporozhye Institute of
State and Municipal Government" (Zaporozhye, Ukraine).
The previous seminar was held on November, 17 2001 in Zaporozhye, Ukraine. It has awoke a great interest of scientists, criminalists, agents and experts of Security Service of Ukraine, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Offices of Public Prosecutor, and non-government organizations and agencies.
The task of the Second scientific and practical seminar is discussion of critical problems of fighting computer crime, including economic, legal, organizational and technical aspects of information protection.
The aim of seminar is experience exchange in fighting computer crime, an establishment and development of business contacts, acquaintance with ideas, approaches and concrete results in this field. The work of the seminar will base on participants' statements, discussions and round table.
