Stop Cybercrime HAMDEN — A Sanford Street man was arrested Thursday on a charge that he sent child pornography over the Internet, police said.
Phillip Bacon, 53, of 65 Sanford St. is charged with one count of possession of child pornography. He is free on $10,000 bail, Detective Sgt. Bo Kicak said. Bacon was arrested following an investigation that began after Hamden police received a call last month from police in Irving, Texas, Kicak said. Police in Irving said an investigator there had allegedly received from Bacon, via an e-mail attachment, a pornographic image that involved a young girl, Kicak said.
