What the Big Bear Computer Club? It’s a place where you can get help with your current computer problems, hear outstanding industry guest speakers make presentations of the latest and greatest computer products and most of all it’s a learning experience for all who attend. The Big Bear Computer Club monthly meeting will be on Tuesday, September 12, 2006 – 5:30 pm at the Big Bear Discovery Center located at 40971 North Shore Drive (Highway 38), Fawnskin, CA.

At the Tuesday, Sept. 12th meeting, the Computer Club will have their Annual Silent Auction and Computer Software fundraiser sale. They will be offering new and used hardware, software, and books at terrific prices. Besides the Silent Auction items, there will be a table with brand new $80-$100 computer software for $20; new and used computer books for $7.50 and even a $2.50 table with new unopened older software.

The presenter this month will be Alex Soliz, Paradigm Dynamics, who will be showing us how Microsoft's 'Windows Live One Care' software program can be used. This program will give the user round-the-clock protection and maintenance such as virus scanning; firewall; tune-ups; file backups, the whole nine yards.

There is no charge to attend and the general public is invited. There will be refreshments served and door prizes given out. For further information you may contact Yomar Cleary, President, at [email protected].
