Irina Danilova, claiming to be from Vologda, Russia, is most definitely a scammer. She is very clever. We exchanged letters for more than nine months before she asked me for any money. Apparently, she has great patience and probably great resources as well. I sent her $1800 and even was supposed to meet her at Sky Harbor Intnl. Airport in Phoenix. She was a no-show. Until then, I thought she was honest. She even continued to attempt to extort more money from me after that claiming she was not allowed to get on the plane to leave Russia. I would no longer be fooled.

I have received emails from Elena (sswweettllaaddyy). Don't know if she's a scammer, but I'm looking now. The scammers seem to be picking up email addresses from the dating sites.

2007-03-20 14:19:46 -
Has anyone received emails from a woman named Elena using "sswweettllaaddyy" as her email address? She claims to come from the city of Konakova in Russia. Is she a scammer?
Thanks,
JA

have been contacted by a woman from Penza, Russia.
she said her name is Lyudmila Vartanova. I felt something wasn't right but kept contact with her. she is now saying that she wants to come and see me and that we should split the expense. That got me even more
suspicious so I checked on other websites to see if she was on any of them and eventually I hit pay "dirt"
I was sent many photos of her so this helped to find her. the photo of her had her named as Natalya Burkova.
I am so glad that I didnt send her any money. Also there was another woman who tried to get me to send her money her name is Lynda Jack. I must have a cyber
bullseye on my computer. If any of these sound familiar
let me know. I'll check back later!

Correction to my previous post:
The SkypeOut number is "+1 602 222 0000" and the website is http://www.skype.com/products/skypeout/

Previous post stated "600" and should be "602" as the area code.

"2006-05-21 10:32:05 - Leah
For reference only:
The telephone number, "+1 600 222 0000" is used by SkypeOut , and is the number which appears on a CallerID box when someone is called through this service."
