WOW,,,,i am so glad that i talked with a friend about a freecycle ad i emailed someone about for a free 11week old female yorkie.she emailed me back and said that the yorkie has been adopted out. then 2 days later she emails me saying that the person has changed her mind and because of her new job she couldnt take care of her the way she needed to be taken care of.and sent me two pics of her too.. she looked so sweet.my friend said that it sounded like a scam maybe, because, why would someone from west africa,nigerea respond to a ad in normanfreecyle.com for a puppy from so far away.so he told me to copy and paste the email address, and search it, and it came up about a "NIGEREA PUPPY SCAM" from the news.i am soooooo mad and hurt at the fact that some one could jepordize someones money and time and feelings for anything.and on that note too, that we may also no longer be able give away animals on freecycle.com.we have a overpopulation of animals that need homes badly,for you to do that too.SHAME ON YOU.....AND I WILL PRAY FOR YOU....AND I FEEL FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT DID GET TAKEN IN THIS SCAM..SO WRONG OF THEM TO DO.

I was going for it until she asked for me to pay for the air fare. I went to look up what it would cost and found the scam sites. I think this is the reason why our freecycle manager does not want to post free animals anymore.

There are several english bulldog puppy ads in post standard/Syracuse.com. They are all scams. They are all claiming to be missionaries. They are claiming they have to find the puppies new homes. I was so appalled that they would use God and missionary work to deceive. Please beware.

Hey I am so glad I found this site because I was about to spend $400 to get me this puppy I found that was suppose to be free but when I started to corresponded with this lady I got a little weary of it so I researched all the puppy scams going on and then I found out the truth.
