I received an e-mail from a friend today asking me to send money via western union—saying she had been held up at gunpoint in London and needed money to get home. There was a hotel number to call—I called it and it was obvious it wasn't a hotel, since they didn't answer with the name of the hotel. I asked them what hotel it was and they said heelton, I said please spell it, and they spelled hilton. Their English was very poor. I'm supposed to believe that the people at the London Hilton can't speak English? Anyway, I then called my friend and she said her account had been hacked by spyware.
