The first e-crime congress

The National Hi-Tech Crime Unit (NHTCU) and AKJ Associates take this opportunity to present the First Strategic Stakeholders e-crime congress, December 9th - 11th, 2002, at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel, London.

The threat to online information posed by hacking, cyber-terrorism and computer viruses continues to grow. Amid growing worldwide dependence on information systems and networks, many organisations both in the public and private sectors remain exposed to a loss of assets, revenue, reputation, shareholders, investors and even complete business failure. Conversely the boards and management committees of some organisations are already taking steps at the highest level - they recognise taking an interest in systems and risk management is a matter of good corporate governance.

The e-crime congress provides a unique opportunity for government, industry and law enforcement to examine emerging trends in cyber-crime and develop effective partnerships creating a digital environment that is safe and secure.
